BIOMECÂNICA DA CORRIDA DE LONGA DISTÂNCIA

Resumo

A corrida em bipedia é uma adaptação evolutiva que ancestrais muito remotos do Homo sapiens conquistaram. A maioria das alavancas de nosso sistema locomotor são interpotentes e apropriadas para a velocidade e, portanto, para uma corrida eficiente. O objetivo deste artigo foi refletir sobre as pesquisas relativas à corrida, especialmente as de longas distâncias, seus achados e seus desafios. Para isso foram selecionados 26 artigos, em língua inglesa, que comtemplaram os unitermos “biomechanical analysis”, “kinematic analysis”, “kinetic analysis”, “long distance race”, que consolidaram um possível arco de conhecimento sobre a temática composto por variáveis cinemáticas, cinéticas e eletromiográficas, até questões sobre a variabilidade ambiental e tribológicas. Apesar dos avanços significativos sobre a corrida de longa distância, ficou patente, a necessidade de mais pesquisas sobre esse tema, para a elucidação de questões ainda não respondidas.
